He studied chemistry and holds a doctorate in natural sciences. He has 10 years professional experience in each of the following: academia, the automotive supplier industry and the managing of funding programmes in the field of energy research. His focus is on fuel cell technologies, electrolysis and batteries as well as on European and international cooperation.
