Kaija Pehu-Lehtonen, M.Sc., is responsible for business development at Metsä Fibre. She has been a Member of the Management team since 2010. Metsä Fibre is the leading producer of pulp, sawn timber and other bioproducts whose main raw material is wood from sustainably managed northern forests.
Mrs. Pehu-Lehtonen has over 30 years’ working experience in forest products industry at various managerial positions in production and development. Before the current position, she was working as Mill Manager at Metsä Fibre’s Rauma Pulp Mill.
Mrs. Pehu-Lehtonen is a Member of the Board at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. She has also acted as Chairman of the Board at FTP (Forest-based Technology Platform) during 2013-16.
