Accreditation
Finland’s Presidency uses an online accreditation system.
We invite you to complete the accreditation well in advance of the meeting. Online accreditation is open until 6 November 2019. Please note that late accreditations will not be allowed after this date. After completing the accreditation, you will receive notification that your accreditation was successful. Please note that only accredited participants have access to the meeting venue and other official programme venues.
All personal information provided during accreditation will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). More information about privacy policy during Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union and about photographing, video filming and audio recording during the meetings available via https://eu2019.fi/en/data-protection

Badges
Access to the meeting venue requires a valid personalized badge, which can be obtained at the accreditation desk upon arrival. Kindly note that participants cannot enter the venue without a personalized badge. Please bring a valid identity document.
Make sure to wear your badge visibly at the meeting venue and in the official programme venues. All badges are strictly for personal use and non-transferrable.
Technical visits
Three parallel technical visits will be organized on 13 November 2019 at 13:00-17:00. Before the visits, the participants should collect their badges at the lobby of hotel Crowne Plaza.
Technical visit 1: Porvoo refinery, Neste
Technical visit 2: Smart Otaniemi innovation ecosystem, VTT
Technical visit 3: Energy production in Helsinki

Welcome reception and dinner
A welcome reception hosted by the City of Helsinki will be organized on 14 November 2019 at Helsinki City Hall. A bus transportation from the Finlandia Hall to the City Hall will be provided. After the reception, there will be a short walk to restaurant Pörssitalo, where the dinner will take place.
Dress code: smart casual.
Please indicate your participation as well as any dietary requirements via the online accreditation system.
Security
For security reasons, a valid badge must be worn visibly at all times. Please note that only badge holders can access the meeting venue and other official programme venues.
If you lose your badge, contact the Information Desk at the meeting venue without delay.
Sustainability
The principles of sustainability apply to all arrangements during Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU. This means that the Presidency will offset the air travel emissions of the participants of this meeting, instead of traditional presidency gifts.
